Summon / Bone hybrid -> Bone spear with 1 synergy is viable.Summoner with mages -> mages aren't that bad and can actually take down phys immunes.Necromancer - the most comically safe class in HC Every class has a few really reliable HC (untwinked) builds, some more powerful (but squishy), some slower (but near unkillable), while some lucky builds are just plain broken. (Wall of text warning)I'll preface this by saying most of my Guardians were done on LOD patch 1.13d or 1.14d, players 1 setting, but this should still be applicable in D2R. But, I'm just trying to touch all my bases. I have my top 2 Hammerdin and Summoner Druid but then I also have a Nova Sorc, for funsies - is there any other, solid and dependable builds I should consider building up at this early stage? Or, even any other build that might never make it to nightmare but might be good for farming? I've looked up "best hardcore builds" a bunch of times. More characters means more runes, more gems, more gear that might then be distributed for other characters. I've already got 3 characters into Act 2 N - but I think, the more the better. A single character won't necessarily "just get to 99" because of pushing forward, especially in hardcore. I'm a strong believer of building a foundation. At this point I've focused all my attention into hardcore as level 99 hardcore is clearly the biggest obstacle. So, now that I'm mostly focused on console, I've been attracted to the D2R Platinum. I've been playing since Diablo 1 played Diablo 2 and LoD, and even stood inline to get Diablo 3 day one. Though, I would consider myself mostly casual-to-moderate. ![]()
